Step 1: Install Maxwell’s Shopify App
Search for “Maxwell” in the Shopify App Store or click this link: https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=maxwell. Install the app and grant Maxwell the required permission.
Afterwards, you’ll follow a simple onboarding process where you grant access to your Facebook page. Make sure that you are an admin of the Facebook page, which will be used to send the cart reminder messages.
In the last step you can configure the coupon popup by editing the text to match your tone of voice and specific offering.
Make sure to create the discount code beforehand and ensure it’s validity when running the coupon popup.

Step 2: Configure your Cart Reminder Message
After completing the app installation, you will arrive at your dashboard. From there you can configure your cart reminder message and coupon popup.
Lets see how this works. Simply click the Edit button. Now you’ll be able to adjust our cart reminder message for Facebook Messenger.
Click on Update when you are done.
Lets’s follow the same steps for the coupon popup. Navigate to the Coupon Popup page from the left panel.
Here you can customise the popup to your brand by uploading a logo and by creating a persuasive title & subtitle that follows your unique tone of voice.
